Calif. Sheriff ‘Really Upset’ Harris Featured Him in New Campaign Ad

California Sheriff Mike Boudreaux is upset over a Kamala Harris campaign ad using his image without consent, stressing he does not endorse her. The footage, from a 2013 event when Harris was attorney general, was labeled by Boudreaux as “smoke and mirrors,” accusing her of taking credit for local law enforcement efforts.

The ad portrays Harris as tough on border control, but critics point to record illegal crossings under her vice presidency and minimal engagement with the border issue. Boudreaux criticized her past actions, claiming she undercut California’s anti-crime efforts by defunding task forces and leaving communities vulnerable.

Former Border Patrol union leader Brandon Judd also slammed Harris’s failure to address immigration. Critics argue her record could impact the 2024 election, as Biden supports her presidential bid.
