Homan Warns Migrant ‘Terror’ Groups They’ll Be Wiped ‘Off Face of the Earth’

Former immigration enforcement official Tom Homan delivered a strong message on Saturday, emphasizing a tough stance on illegal immigration and criminal organizations. Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), he assured that authorities would continue to arrest those violating immigration laws and warned cities that refuse to cooperate with federal agencies.

Homan, previously the acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), highlighted the significant decrease in illegal border crossings, as reported by Fox News. “In 2023, we had around 1,800 illegal entries daily. Yesterday, that number was down to just 48,” he stated. While acknowledging the progress, he insisted, “That’s still 48 too many. We won’t stop until we get that number to zero.” He also noted that in the first month of the new administration, ICE arrested 21,000 individuals in the country unlawfully.

Homan expressed a firm stance against criminal organizations, including Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua and El Salvador’s MS-13, which have recently been classified as foreign terrorist groups. “These organizations have taken more American lives than any other terrorist group worldwide,” he declared. He issued a warning to those assisting such groups, stating that anyone involved in their activities is aiding terrorism.

Emphasizing the impact of stricter border enforcement, Homan highlighted the lives saved by reducing illegal crossings. “With 95% fewer people coming in, fewer women are being victimized, fewer Americans are dying from fentanyl, and fewer individuals are trafficked,” he said.

Addressing criticism from political opponents and the media regarding the arrest of non-criminal migrants alongside those with criminal records, he responded, “Entering this country illegally is against the law, and we will enforce it.”

Homan also took aim at sanctuary cities that refuse to work with federal immigration authorities. “Sanctuary cities protect criminals,” he asserted. “We are enforcing laws passed by Congress, and we won’t apologize for it.” He specifically called out Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox for his refusal to assist ICE, criticizing his decision to release detained individuals rather than cooperate with federal enforcement.

Expressing appreciation for law enforcement, Homan thanked ICE agents, Border Patrol officers, and federal agencies such as the U.S. Marshals, DEA, FBI, and ATF for their efforts in securing the country. “I have deep respect for those in uniform,” he said. “Border Patrol agents are among the finest in this nation.”
