Sen. Marsha Blackburn told Fox News that Democrats, including Sen. Adam Schiff, fear Kash Patel as a potential FBI director because he has insider knowledge of their role in promoting the “Russia collusion” claims during Trump’s presidency. She argued that Patel’s dedication to transparency threatens to expose wrongdoing in Washington, making Democrats uneasy about his leadership.
Blackburn also addressed RFK Jr.’s alignment with Trump on key issues, stating that Democrats resent figures like him and Tulsi Gabbard for breaking from the party. She suggested that, as retaliation, Democrats might attempt to stall RFK Jr.’s nomination. However, she praised his potential leadership at HHS, emphasizing his commitment to transparency and reform. She highlighted his plans to work with figures like Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Marty Makary to overhaul agencies like CMS, the FDA, and NIH.
Additionally, Blackburn raised concerns about 300,000 missing children, an issue she claims the Biden administration has ignored. She expressed confidence that RFK Jr. would prioritize finding these children and ensuring accountability. She also stressed the public’s demand for transparency regarding COVID-19, stating that RFK Jr. would play a key role in uncovering the truth.
