Schiff Ready To Reach Across Aisle Ahead Of Trump’s Second Term

California Senator Adam Schiff has signaled a willingness to collaborate with Republicans as Donald Trump prepares to return to the White House. After winning the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s seat, Schiff emphasized bipartisan efforts, particularly on housing, healthcare, and economic issues, stating, “There’s ample room to get these things done if we’re looking for solutions rather than just fighting each other.”

Despite years of criticism aimed at Trump, Schiff acknowledged the challenges of balancing opposition with cooperation, saying, “Californians will expect me to push back when necessary while also working across the aisle.”

In a CNN interview, Schiff defended his previous statements on alleged Trump-Russia collusion, citing evidence but acknowledging the Mueller report’s lack of definitive proof. Meanwhile, former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi clashed with Schiff during her confirmation hearing for Trump’s Justice Department, accusing him of recklessness after he questioned her stance on presidential pardons.
